Synopsis:

The play is set in Trench Town a deprived area on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica and explores issues around religious superstitions and white domination through the life of a young woman, Della, torn between the desire to better herself through a relationship with a white doctor and that of freeing herself and the community from the grips of its religious leader.
